No time for writing much yesterday. \u00a0Or this morning.<\/p>\n
I’m feeling guilty.<\/p>\n
Usually about this time in the morning, I have a story in mind or I’ve already written it and posted it. \u00a0This morning, I’ve been working. \u00a0At home, I was doing some packing for my trip to AZ (for my day job).<\/p>\n
That means all the writing has to happen tonight when I get home. \u00a0Unless I can squeeze some time here at work.<\/p>\n
I was talking to someone here and she said, “You write an awful lot.” \u00a0I said, “You run, I write. \u00a0It’s the same thing.”<\/p>\n
The thing is to make the time for it. \u00a0I need to write every day. \u00a0It’s as important to me as taking a shot. \u00a0More important, actually.<\/p>\n
I MUST write. \u00a0And I will find the time to do so.<\/p>\n
I started doing the planning stages of Tamerlane, and then I decided, “Screw this. \u00a0Why don’t I just let him happen?” \u00a0So instead of planning out his idiosyncrasies before the page, I’m going to do it as I go along. \u00a0Tamerlane is in my head at the moment; what I need to do is to let him out in dribs and drabs. \u00a0That will make it fun for me, and even more fun for the reader, I hope.<\/p>\n
