Initially, I created a magic\/single blade swordsman, but found the combination difficult to play. When I play melee, I like to have a power that jumps into the fray. This build had a good mix of range and close quarter combat, but I kept hitting the sword when at range and the range powers when close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I changed it to fighting claws. Flowcyto, whose builds I steal from the forums, said that fighting claws is “boring”. He’s right. It was boring. I think I did it for two hours before respecting him to the “ninja”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Someone requested a ninja build and Flow provided one. I wanted a build to use boomerangs, just for fun. It was one power that I always wanted to play even back in the day when I first started playing Champions. Along with that is “throwing stars” that, combined with stealth, can do a lot of damage – and it’s fun to play. I need to remember that it’s not a tank, which is my normal playstyle. It’s a run in, run out type of play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I need to change his look and I think I’ll make him a teenager of some sort who is “playing” at being a ninja, some kid who’s watched way too much Naruto and read books on ninjas. Right now he’s an adult with a beard and a cape. Doesn’t quite fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
